AS last week's game against Glentoran at the Oval was suspended, it was announced over the tannoy that the fixture, when it is re-played, will be free entry.
The supporters who had managed to avoid the traffic jam on the Westlink and arrived at the game on time had already paid before it was called off and therefore the Glens will throw open its gates when Glenavon next make the trip.
“The game will be free for all supporters so hopefully we can get a bit of a crowd up at that one,” said Head Coach, Stevie McBride.
“We’ve 28 days to play the fixture so a date will have to be arranged. We want to give the fans a glimmer of hope and let them see that we’re going in the right direction.”
So if anyone who has not watched a Glenavon match for some time, what better opportunity to go back to see the Blues.
For further information on the date and time of the game keep an eye out in the Lurgan Mail.
