CRAIGAVON Senior High School had another successful sports day which was held at the Antrim Forum.
A fantastic day was had by all with it being the best supported in recent years.

The following are the results:

Boys’ winners - 100m, Aaron McClelland; 200m, Craig Fyffe; 400m, William Lee; 800m, Kenneth Cahoon; 1500m, Dean Singleton; 3000m, James Wright; Long jump, Lee Bicker, triple jump, Andrew Walker; high jump, Luke Montgomery; shot, Ally Carvel; discus, Lee Bicker; javelin, Gareth Treanor.

Girls’ winners - 100m, Clare Calvert; 200m, Gabby McNally; long jump, Sarah McClure; triple jump, Jenni Ansell; high jump, Jenni Ansell; shot, Gaby McNally; discus, Gaby McNally; javelin, Gaby McNally; hammer, Gaby McNally.

The Athletes of the Day were: Boys – Lee Bicker; Girls – Gaby McNally. Gaby is also the Irish Schools’ Hammer champion at intermediate level.
