THERE is no excuse this summer for children to be crying 'I'm bored!' with four IFA summer camps running at a variety of locations throughout July and August.
Organised by the IFA and sponsored by Nutty Krust, the camps are open to boys and girls of all abilities aged from five years to 16 years old.
Endorsed by Northern Ireland Internationals Keith Gillespie and Stacey Hall, the camps will ensure tha
t the children learn new skills and develop as a player with experienced and knowledgable coaches.
"We had a great summer last year with over 200 players coming along to the different events we organised,” commented Keith Gibson, IFA Grassroots Officer for Craigavon.
“We are hoping to give even more young people from the borough the chance to have fun, make new friends and improve their skills. It is also a real coup to have some of the Portadown players paying a special visit to two of our camps taking place at Brownstown Park to pass on their expertise.”
The cost for each camp is £35 per person with discounts available for the second child in the family or a second camp attended.
All players at the camps will receive a Northern Ireland gym bag and ball. Dates and venues for camps are:
