ARMAGH will be in Group B for this season’s McKenna Cup.
Should they top the group they will most likely face current Ulster champions Donegal in the semi-final.
The Orchard may also progress as the best runner-up across the groups if they fall into second place.
In that scenario Tyrone would be the likely opponents.
The semi-finals will take place on the weekend of January 21 and 22.
The final will be on Saturday, January 28.
The group fixtures are as follows:
Sunday, January 8, (2pm): St Mary’s v Monaghan at St Tiernach’s Park, Clones; Down v Armagh at Pairc Esler, Newry.
Sunday, January 15, (2pm): Monaghan v Down at St Tiernach’s Park, Clones; Armagh v St Mary’s at Morgan Athletic Grounds, Armagh
Wednesday, January 18, (7.30pm): Armagh v Monaghan at Morgan Athletic Grounds, Armagh; Down v St Mary’s at Pairc Esler, Newry.
