GLENAVON’S new kit for the 2012/13 season will be made by Umbro and is a royal blue version of Linfield’s new away shirt.
The Lurgan Blues’ new home shirt, according to supplier Stuart Gordon from The Beautiful Game, will be “a royal blue Umbro shirt with white piping, not dissimilar in style to Linfield’s away shirt that they wore in the Irish Cup final.”
The home kit will be completed with white shorts and blue socks, the traditional Glenavon home colours, whilst the away kit will be a white shirt with navy shorts and socks.
Umbro, of course, supplied Glenavon’s kits for their Irish Cup victory in 1997 and the club are now reverting back to Umbro.
The Beautiful Game are hoping to have the full kit and training gear range in stock, ready for action in the club’s pre-season friendly against Millwall on July 21.
Kits, tracksuits, polo shirts, training gear, half-zip tops, bench gear and a new Glenavon scarf will be available for supporters to purchase as soon as possible.
