The group winners will met in the final on the Lurgan Green on a mutually suitable date during the last week of this month.

As in previous years all proceeds will be donated to Meningitis Now. The Lurgan Club is facilitating the competition and is pleased to be associated with Alfred Briggs (Alwood) Ltd in the raising of funds for this worthy charity.

Lurgan ladies played away at Newcastle recently and were delighted to continue their winning form by picking up 5½ points keeping them in fourth place in the league.

The final score was 62-57 in favour of the visitors.

On Tuesday and Wednesday Lurgan ladies hosted the NIWBA semi-finals and on Thursday they are at home to Portadown in a league game.
