Away draw in Schools’ Cup

Lurgan College face the prospect of an early clash with the holders in this year’s Ulster Bank Schools Cup.

They will begin their campaign with a first round tie in Newtownards against Regent House - if they win they will entertain Royal Belfast Academical Institution who, as holders, are one of five seeded sides receiving a bye.

The first round is scheduled to be completed by April 29 and the full draw is:

Strabane Academy v Carrickfergus Gramma; Sullivan Upper School v Larne Grammar; Antrim Grammar v Friends’ School; Royal School Armagh v Bangor Grammar; Grosvenor Grammar v Belfast High; Coleraine Academical Institution v Down High; Methodist College Belfast v RBAI 2nd XI; Portora Royal School vRoyal School Dungannon; Campbell College 2nd XI v Limavady Grammar; Ballymena Academy vBallyclare High; Regent House v Lurgan College.
