CRAIGAVON City under 13/14 girls are travelling to Manchester on Friday 17th may to compete in the UK finals of the CYP tournament.

This is a terrific achievement for the girls considering seven of the eight players are a year younger and are eligible to play next season. To reach the finals the CCFC girls defeated Foyle Ladies, Crusaders and Linfield.

This is the girls third season playing together and so far they are undefeated winning the Mid Ulster League two years in a row.

They have also finished runner up in two NI Finals losing by the odd goal on both occasions.

The team includes Lauren Currie, Lauren Gregg, Niamh Ruddy, Niamh Murray, Grace Lavelle, Sacha McDowell, Sasha Malone and Joanna Kerr.

Craigavon City this season are aiming for teams at under 9, 11, 13 and 15 age groups.
