TULLYVALLEN 3 CRAIGAVON CITY 2

CRAIGAVON City held the lead on two occasions but finished down and out at the final whistle.

Glenn France fired home the opening goal from distance before a foul inside the area allowed Tullyvallen to level from the penalty spot.

France’s afternoon ended in a trip to the hospital as a result of a broken nose, with the two sets of players still at one apiece entering the break.

City dominated play after the break and this pressure resulted in Darragh McConville slotting home a penalty kick following a foul on Richard Hamilton.

Tullyvallen grabbed two late goals to turn the tie - with City officials left frustrated at the rival outfit’s physical approach and a number of calls by the referee.
