Glenavon face Shakhtyor Soligorsk in Europa League
Glenavon face formidable opposition in the Europa League after being drawn against FC Shakhtyor Soligorsk from Belarus.
The Lurgan Blues will be at home on July 2 in the first leg with the return match a week later in Belarus.
“It looks to be a tough draw both in terms of opposition and the travelling as it is difficult place to get too but that is football. The boys worked hard to get us into Europe so you would like to ge a winnable tie but this is going to be a big ask for us,” said manager Gary Hamilton. More in this week’s Lurgan Mail.
