A hat-trick from Everton target Shayne Lavery and two from Marty Olali saw Glenavon U19s ease into the Harry Cavan Youth Cup final last Friday night.
The Lurgan Blues saw off Coalisland 5-0 with a polished display.
“It is a great effort from the whole team,” said Glenavon boss Gary Hamilton.
“Players like Shayne and Marty could play at this level for another three years because of their age so it shows the potential they have.
“At Glenavon we work hard with the youth teams because we need players to come through the ranks and ultimately play in the first team.”
Glenavon now face Linfield Rangers in the final on Friday 20th March, venue yet to be confirmed, but likely to be Seaview.
The William Walker and Victoria Supporters Club shared bus for the game at Ballinamallard will leave Mourneview Park on Saturday at 12.00 noon.
The Triangle Glenavon SC bus leaves Moira at 12.30pm, then on to Mourneview Park leaving at 1.00pm.
