“I really could not say no although I’m nervous about it. Mark was always the man in the forefront of things with his football and doing the talking and things like this. I was always in the background, but it is an honour to do it and hopefully I’ll bring Glenavon a little bit of luck. It’s going to be a great day win or lose.

Terri-Louise will wear Mark’s Glenavon shirt on the day.

“I found it and decided that would be perfect. Mark loved his time at Glenavon. He always said to me he wished he could have been there earlier in his career.

“He always felt they were a very special club with very special people. Mark and Gary were great friends for a long time and I know Mark will be looking down on us all on Saturday.”
