Norwich City are sending their top European international scout to Mourneview Park on Friday night.
Ewan Chester, who spent 20 years at Rangers, is here to run his eye over highly rated teenager Rhys Marshall.
The talented full-back has been on the radar of Norwich since being recommended to the club last season.
Rhys will also be hoping the night brings a much sought after win for the Lurgan Blues.
After a series of defeats, Glenavon will want to get back to winning ways and this is the ideal opportunity.
“To get wins in this league we need the same work rate and effort we put in prior to Dungannon,” said manager Gary Hamilton.
“Institute are coming here off the back of a good result against Crusaders, in fact they almost won it, but if we show the right hunger and attitude then our ability should take over.
“The target is to stay in the top six, but we need to fight to stay there. I think four teams will pull way so if we can pick up a win here and there, especially against the teams around us then we will not be far away.”
