DAVID Rainey has joined Glenavon making it a hat-trick of signings for the Lurgan club this week.

Manager Gary Hamilton also recruited wingers Mark Patton from Portadown and 23-year-old Adam Foley from Balbriggan in Dublin.

“I’ve been crying out for wingers for some time and Mark and Adam will hopefully do a good job for us. David Rainey gives us another striking option. I’m still looking for a centre half and a central midfielder,” said Hamilton.

Gary has also moved to re-sign the following players:

The manager also agreed new year contracts with Marc Brown, Kris Lindsay, Andy Kilmartin, Andy McGrory, Kyle Neill and Conor Hagan while goalkeeper Andy Coleman signed up for another two years.

Rainey was released by Crusaders at the weekend.
