GLENAVON secured a vital three points on Saturday after defeating Dungannon Swifts 3-1 at Mourneview Park.

Despite going a goal down and having a player sent off, the Lurgan Blues hit back with goals from Guy Bates (2) and Mark Farren to see off their Mid-Ulster rivals.
