Dwyer Lavery grabbed six goals as Silverwood United cruised past Coalisland Athletic on Saturday.

The Silverwood striker pushed his personal tally to the 37 mark with a weekend double treble in Mid-Ulster League Division One.

The other Silverwood scorers were Sean Haughian, Michael Haughian and Shane Doran.

“We had a depleted squad but Coalisland were also struggling,” said Stephen Toman, the Silverwood manager who had to step in and play as goalkeeper. “I cannot think of a previous time a Silverwood player scored six goals in one match.

“Dwyer now has 37 in all competitions and it would be brilliant for him to hit 40 before the end of the season.”
