The former Linfield, Portadown and Dungannon Swifts midfielder will be a huge asset to the team says manager Colin Malone.

“Getting a player of Jamie’s experience and quality is a massive coup for us,” said Malone.

“I’m thrilled at getting Jamie on board and he is just the type of player we need at this level.

“We lost Daniel Ryan who has gone to Dromara Village, but we may be able to add one more new face before the season starts.

“If we don’t, I am happy with the squad we have. We will also have a reserve team this year which will give players the chance to get games when necessary.”

Malone is working on his pre-season and hopes to arrange games with Glenavon, Portadown, Dungannon and Cliftonville.
