LURGAN Club Captain Peter Maxwell believes the performances of the under 11 bodes well for the future of the Pollock Park club.

He said: “The club has always focussed on developing young players and it is great to see them coming through.

“It was disappointing not to win the All-Ireland but doing an NCU league and cup double was a tremendous achievement.

“It bodes well for the future of the club.”
