Enda completed his first five holes of the back nine in an impressive level par gross with a bogey on 11 and birdie on 12 with pars on the remainder. A slight wobble on the 15th and 16th holes was overcome by a very good birdie 4 on the 18th hole, for a gross 80.

In second place with a very impressive score of nett 66 was Joe McAvoy playing off a 19 handicap. Joe had a mixed front nine with 5 bogeys on the card, but three excellent birdies on holes 4, 8 and 9 put him in great stead heading into the back nine. Swapping his green keeping for golf, in fifth place was the jovial Michael Haughian with an impressive nett 69, gross 77 playing off an 8 handicap.
