Impressive Blues win B decider

CLAN NA GAEL 3-15

TIR NA NOG 1-7

A very impressive Clan na Gael team were too strong for Tir na ng in the Corner House 'B' Championship final at St. Peter's and ran out comfortable winners in the end.

This Clans team are possibly the strongest Reserve side to have won the series and, despite losing forward Chris Cormican in the early stages, they created a host of chances and proved lethal on occasions.

Man of the match Ronan O'Hara pulled the strings on the night and opened up the game for two impressive players, Stephan Campbell and Niall Lavery to excell.

O'Hara hit the Blues' first goal before the break and was instrumental in the move which saw Lavery find the net on the three-quarter hour mark.

Long kick specialist Declan McGeown knocked in the third before the end.

The man of the match award was jointly presented by the Corner House and Game On.
