Jan Ling members book places at World Championships
FIVE members of the Ballymena-based Jan Ling Freestyle Kung Fu and Kickboxing Club will represent Northern Ireland at the WKC World Championships in Portugal later this year.
The quintet booked their tickets with some outstanding performances in the recent WKC Northern Ireland championships.
Daniel Morgan and Natasha Grattan both won gold in their respective sections, while Fiona Fleming , Adrian Craig and Ernie Johnston also qualified by virtue of winning silver medals at the same event.
Jan Ling members were also in action in the recent Irish Open International Tournament at Dublin's City West Hotel.
More than 2,350 competitors from 31 different countries, including professional fighting teams from USA, competed in the event and one of Jan Ling's students, Rebekah Graham, came home with a second place trophy
To complete a busy period, later this month club members will be fighting in the WKA Northern Ireland Championships and the AKAI All Ireland Eliminations.
