Fresh faces in position

FRESH faces will line out in the managerial hot-seat across four of the seven clubs from within the area on Sunday during the opening league programme.

Wolfe Tones, Sarsfields, Clann Eireann and Eire Og each made close-season changes.

Sarsfields have promoted Jim McAlinden, Gerard McMahon and Francis Reynolds from the minors up to senior level.

Mark Beattie - the Clann Eireann player/manager - has experience handling the development of the reserves and under 21s.

The arrival from the minors of members of St Michael’s MacLarnon campaign will aid his efforts.

In Division Two, Mickey Devlin and Oliver Cormican will tackle Wolfe Tones seniors - with former club, Eire Og, turning to Kevin Blaney with support from Martin McCleary and Conor Lavery.
