The weather on the day was appalling and the start had to be moved due to flooding. The new course consisted of 1400m over hills and included sharp turns, but the boys did not let the occasion deter them and they produced a great effort.

In a field of over 200 Jordan Dawson finished second and Jamie Hamilton third and when the scores were all added up King’s Park were awarded first place.

This is the first time the school has reached this level and all credit to the boys and coaches with this success.
