WITH the season drawing to a close, Lurgan Seconds turned in a great performance to dispose of Cooke Thirds.

Lurgan, fielding some new faces and a few old heads, put in a top display to overcome the home side by a scoreline of 38-7.

The points came from a Peter Robinson try, four tries from Tom Dreaning and four conversions and a penalty from Josh McKay.

Lurgan firsts wrapped up the league campaign with a 22-16 success over Letterkenny on Saturday to secure second spot.

Chris Wamsley grabbed a try - with Steven Nolan posting the remaining points.

On Saturday, Lurgan seniors visit Civil Service in The Wolfhound Cup - with the seconds away to Newry in search of league points.
