THREE of Lurgan Ladies hockey were celebrating last weekend as they helped Ulster lift the Under-21 inter-pro trophy at Blaris.
Lucy McKee, Chloe McCann and Louise Murray played their part in an amazing final day which saw the Ulster girls have to play and win three matches and win by a staggering eight goal margin in the final game to secure the spoils.
They did so thanks to a five goal blast from Lucy McKee as the Ulster team defeated South East in the showdown 8-0.
Lucy hit four goals in the first half to set Ulster on their way and added another in the second half. Goals from Vanessa Surgeoner (2) and Julie Allison made sure the trophy was snatched from holders Leinster.
Full results: Ulster 2 Munster 0; Ulster 3 Connacht 0; Ulster 1 Leinster 1; Ulster 8 South East 0.
