Fifth was Stephen Morgan with a nett 69, he had a front nine of 39 with one birdie, one double bogey, four pars and three bogeys. His back nine was a lot more solid coming back in one under gross 36, with two birdies, only one bogey and six pars.
The senior prize was won by Joseph Kelly with a nett 70.
The junior prizes were collected by 1st Jack Doyle with a nett 71, and 2nd Callum Starkey with a nett 71.
Section winners: 0-12 Patrick McKeown nett 70; 13-18 David Ewing nett 70; 19-28 Eamon Nelson nett 70.
The mid-week sweep winner was Desmond Madden with 42 points.
Round 7 of the Mid Ulster Seniors League took place at Dungannon Golf Club last week and the Silverwood team came out with a great result of 122 points on the day, second only to the host club, who had 125 points.
This outstanding result moved the club up to sixth place and only eight points behind the third place Armagh. With only three outings left there is real optimism that the Club could finish in a prize-winning top four place. The main scorers on this outing were Neil Walker/David Cunningham with 42 points and the others Seamus Patton/Joe Kelly and Brian Brady/Jon Clarke both with 40 points.
