Moved into second place

CRAIGAVON resumed league action after the winter break when they took on Lisburn Racquets at Craigavon Leisure Centre.

Craigavon were sitting joint second in the league table with local rivals Banbridge however at the end of the evening they assumed second place in Ulster League Division 2 on their own following a convincing 12-4 win.

First on was Peter Barclay and he proved to hot to handle for his Lisburn counterpart registering a 3-1 win.

Next on court was Darren McCabe and had far too much for his opponent racing to a 3-0 win.

Nick Rusk was on next and he again proved too good on the night winning by the same 3-0 margin.

Last on court was Rory Reynolds and he had a rare off night ending in a 3-1 reverse.

Club nights continue each Thursday from 7.30pm at the Leisure Centre with new players always welcome.
