Tennis club members 'set' for new season

BALLYMENA Lawn Tennis Club members are looking forward to a new season of social and competitive play for everyone.

The club recently elected committee is already exploring ideas to make the club more exciting and better fun for players of all standards and age groups.

Action teams have been formed with definite tasks to improve all aspects of the club with the view to introducing social evenings and fun events such as a bowls competition on the Peoples Park Bowling Green which is rarely used and further ideas are sought for consideration.

On the financial side, subs for this season are now due for payment and should be forwarded new Treasurer and Membership Secretary Joanne Logan at 29 Tullygarley Road, Ballymena, BT42 2HZ.

There is a free set of tennis balls for all those subs received by April 7.

Private and Group coaching is available all year round for beginners, improvers and advanced players.
