Savage stands down from the Board

AT Glenavon's Annual General Meetings of members and shareholders, held last Thursday evening, Councillor George Savage decided not to stand for re-election to the club's Board of Directors.

However, the following directors were re-elected to serve on the Board for the 2009/10 year: Stevie Campbell, Eddie Drury, Frazer Follis, Trevor Harper, Ian Irwin, George Swift, Adrian Teer and Hubert Watson.

The reconvened Board of Directors met after the meetings and again elected Adrian Teer and Hubert Watson as Chairman and Vice-Chairman respectively. However, changes were made as Frazer Follis takes over from Ian Irwin as the club’s Treasurer whilst Irwin will take on the newly created role of Commercial Director.

The club’s representative on the IFA Premiership Management Committee for 2009/10 will be Adrian Teer whilst George Swift will represent the Club on the Reserve and Youth League Management Committees. Eddie Drury will replace George Savage as the Club’s representative at the Mid Ulster FA.
