Three local cricketers have been selected to represent the Northern Cricket Union in the Under-13 Interprovincial series. Callum Gibson and Jack Maxwell, both of Lurgan, will be joined by Jack Carson from Waringstown and the three boys will be competing against the best players from across Ireland at the three day event in the North West area from 2nd to 4th July.
Following the announcement of the squad, Michael Hingston, NCU U-13 Head Coach, said, “The Under 13 Interprovincial Series has always been an extremely competitive tournament and I expect this year to be no different. For many, this will be the starting point for their Interprovincial and International cricketing career.”
