Two more wins and new lap record for Trevor
LURGAN man Trevor Roberts continues to go from strength to strength in the British Division One Superkart Championship.
Fresh from his win at round four in the Czech Republic, the Pines Park man took in rounds five and six at the Snetterton Circuit in Norfolk at the weekend.
Qualifying in second place on the front of the grid, Trevor led from start to finish in the first race and set a new lap record for Superkarts at the circuit, shaving almost three seconds off the previous best.
After a poor start off the grid in race two, Trevor powered his way past the pole sitter, Englishman Gavin Bennett, to take the lead by the end of the first lap.
He dominated the race from that point to take the chequered flag and his second race win of the day.
Trevor's next outing will be the British Superkart Grand Prix at Cadwell Park, Lincolnshire on July 18 and 19.
