Young Lurgan player receives hurling award
SEAN Treacy's rising hurling star Christopher McAlinden received an All Star Hurling award recently for his performances for Armagh in the 2007 Nicky Rackard Cup.
The young Lurgan man who was outstanding for his county’s hurlers last season impressed the All Star selections and picked up his accolade at a special function in Croke Park Recently.
Chris was part of Armagh’s side who just fell short of winning the Rackard Cup in 2007. The County were beaten by Wexford in a well-contested decider.
