Girls star in Hansel and Gretel
Dancers from Respira Dance in Lurgan will star this week in the Scottish Ballet's Production of Hansel and Gretel in the Grand Opera House in Belfast.
Zarah Freeburn (11) a pupil at Seagoe Primary School and Evie Macdonald, (12) a pupil at Clonagh Junior High, were selected to play the part of the children in the production. The girls are pictured above, with their dance teacher principal Jill Dickson Monte.
The ballet, inspired by the Brothers Grimm fairy tale, tells the story of plucky Hansel and Gretel who embark on an exciting adventure, travelling deep into the enchanted forest to find their friends.
