LITTLE Starz Academy are currently preparing their latest production named ‘Magical Myths and Legends of Ireland’. The show aims to take the audience back to the most famous myths and legends through acting, dance and music.
Famous stories being performed by the vibrant drama academy include ‘Children of Lir’, ‘Finn McCool and the Giants Causeway’, ‘The Land of Tir n Og’ and ‘Darby O’Gill and the Small People’.
Louise Fahey, Director, commented: “I have really enjoyed producing and directing this show along with my artistic team Thomas Larkham and Donna-Maire McNally.
“It has certainly brought me back to my roots and educated me on Ireland’s myths and legends. Having being brought up in London this has certainly been a learning experience.”
She also went on to explain how much effort the children have put in. She said: “All the children both from Lurgan and Keady branches have put a huge amount of effort into this show and I would urge everyone from all sections of the community to come along and support it.”
The show will be staged twice in two different venues: St Anthony’s Centre, Craigavon on Friday, March 15 and St Patrick’s Hall, Keady on Saturday, March 16. Both productions will begin at 7pm and tickets are priced at £6 for adults, £4 for children and a family ticket (two adults and two children) can be purchased for £18.
