Paul King said: “We moved into the Artspace building at Oxford Island in around August last year and this was initially to run until Dec but we know have the residency extended for another six months.

“We were offered this chance to take up residency in the Artspace building at Oxford Island by Catherine McNeill who is the Community Arts Development Officer for Craigavon. The select group of NAAC Artists involved in this residency are Dwyer Mckerr, Wendy Roberts, Sandy Turley, Julie McGowan and myself. We are all local artists.

“We welcome visitors to call in to the Artspace to meet the Artists and see the work we are making.
Some of us are using the studio as a space to work and develop ideas, and some of us are creating work
which deals directly with the nature reserve landscape. The five NAAC
artists involved all work in different artistic mediums and styles, our diversity is one of our unique points, the five of us work in the mediums of painting,
installation, performance, textiles and film. We will be organising an exhibition of the work we have created during our time at Oxford Island.”

NAAC formed in 2010 and have received funding by the Arts Council of Northern Ireland.
