Lurgan Show cancelled for second year

Lurgan Show has been cancelled for the second year in a row as a result of the Coronavirus pandemic.

The announcement came from the show committee last night (Tuesday, March 16)

In a post on their Facebook page the organisers said: “Exactly one year after our previous announcement, It is with deep regret that after careful consideration, the Lurgan & District Horse & Cattle Show Society Ltd as promoters of the Lurgan Show, announce the cancellation of the June 2021 event owing to on-going Covid-19 restrictions.

“From all of us here at Lurgan Show, we wish you well during these difficult times. Stay safe and we look forward to welcoming everyone back to Lurgan when it may again be safe to do so. The Directors, office bearers and Committee of Lurgan & District Horse & Cattle Show Society Ltd.”
