THIS Friday night local comedian Sean Hegarty takes to the stage in the Mandela Hall, Belfast as part of the Magners Comedy Core, sponsored by Cool FM.
Sean, a one-liner joke machine from Lurgan, has recently supported Patrick Kielty, Tim McGarry and Jake O’Kane on their Irish tours, this time, opening for Seann Walsh, star of Mock The Week and Michael McIntyre’s Roadshow in what is sure to be a major highlight in the comedy calendar.
Sean can also be seen during the ad breaks of the X-Factor in an advertisement for the Belfast Festival as well as on posters and billboards around NI as part of Translink’s ‘Get Up & Go’ campaign.
Fellow Lurgan comedian Micky Bartlett will also be on stage the following night in support of PJ Gallagher.
Nine big name comedians plus a Comic Rap Battle are to be crammed into three amazing nights at the Mandela Hall. Tickets are on sale at just £2.50, with proceeds donated to Macmillan Cancer Support... and there’s a free pint of ice cold Magners Irish Cider too.
It’s a package that could only come from Magners Comedy Core.
