A £200,000 road improvement scheme is set to begin on the A3 Armagh Road, between Portadown and Armagh, on Monday, September 26.
Resurfacing will take place on approximately 700 metres of the road, east of Vicarage Road. Work is expected to be completed by Friday, October 7.
The Department of Infrastructure said diversions will be signposted and local access will be maintained.
A spokesperson said that although the works had been planned to minimise any inconvenience, drivers should expect some delays.
Infrastructure Minister Chris Hazzard said, “The A3 provides a vital link between Armagh and Portadown. The improvements will serve people in the area for many years.”
