Sally Sarah Josephine Connors, whose address was given as Monbrief, Walk, Lurgan, admitted stealing a Credit Union book containing £40 in cash on August 9 this year.

Her solicitor said she had a very significant record and asked the court to consider a pre-sentence report.

Deputy District Judge Laura Ievers said that would be appropriate.

Ordering a report she remanded Connors on her own bail of £200 to appear again at Craigavon on September 7.

Conditions of her bail are that she is to stay out of Lurgan library, where the offence is alleged to have happened, and not to contact the injured party by any means.
