A car has been found burnt out at the entrance to Clare Glen in Tandragee.
It was discovered on Monday evening by a member of the public.
Cusher DUP councillor Gareth Wilson, who has been in contact with the council to organise a clean-up, said, “No clear cause of this incident has been established as yet and the car has been completely destroyed in the blaze.
“Obviously if this was a deliberate act it is something that is not wanted by anyone in the area and especially so given the damage the blaze has caused to the surface of the car park.”
He added, “I have raised this matter with the police who are aware of the incident and attended the scene along with fire crews.
“Hopefully the owner of the vehicle can be traced by police to establish exactly why this incident occurred and I would appeal to anyone who may have witnessed anything suspicious, to contact the police immediately and assist with their inquiries.”
A police spokesperson said enquiries are going on to identify the vehicle.
