Calling all budding photographers – you only have two weeks left to submit your creative pics of Lurgan Park to be in with a chance to win Craigavon Borough Council’s prestigious photography competition.

The competition closes on April 25.

There are three categories in the competition – Wildlife, Park Life (for example people having fun in the Park) and landscape and there is a maximum of five entries per person.

There are also three separate age groups - primary school, U-18 (secondary school) and adult.

All photos will be showcased at an exhibition in the Parks’ Bowling Pavilion from May 12 for two weeks and the winners of each of the categories will have their photographs mounted and framed before their photos are returned to them after the exhibition.

In addition, staff at Lurgan Park will use some of the pictures to develop a 2015 calendar which will showcase all the beautiful and interesting aspects of the park.

All photos should have the date the photo was taken on the back and include the name of the entrant, address and/or e-mail on the back.

Photographs should be 8x6 size only and the competition is for amateur photographers only.

For entry forms and/or further information please contact 028 3832 3795 or 0776 674 0427. Alternatively, call in to Lurgan Park Pavilion.
