THE largest number of firearms seized across police areas in Northern Ireland over the past year was in Craigavon.
Statistics issued by the PSNI said 52 firearms were recovered in the district.
The next highest in NI was Fermanagh with 38 and Lisburn with 18.
There were also 761 rounds of ammunition seized in Craigavon, with Omagh the next highest (625 rounds seized).
The statistics reveal there were three shooting incidents and two bombing incidents.
There were four casualties due to paramilitary assaults and one due to paramilitary shootings.
In Craigavon there were 0.57kgs of explosives discovered and ten people arrested under Section 41 of Terrorism Act. Two arrested under that act were subsequently charged.
