Jewellery taken in burglaries

POLICE in Lurgan are appealing for information following two burglaries in the Mourneview area.

Some time between 8.30am and 11am on Sunday, October 9, entry was gained to a house in Greenhill Park. A silver coloured ladies Guess watch, an Armani watch bearing the engraving ‘Happy 40th Birthday Cyril’ and a Sony SLR camera were taken.

In the second incident a house in the Willowfield Court area was entered during Sunday, October 9. A three band wedding ring (gold, white gold and gold), a very small sized 18 carat gold ring with four small diamonds (one diamond is missing from the set) and a pink digital Samsung ES28 camera were taken.

The two incidents are not connected.

The jewellery taken in both instances is of huge sentimental value to its owners and police are appealing to anyone who has information in relation to the whereabouts of these items to contact them. They would also like to hear from anyone with information about the burglaries.
