Personal items, including a phone and wallets, have been stolen from lockers at Waves Leisure Centre.

Police in Lurgan are probing the thefts which happened on two separate occasions on May 14 and May 20 this year. An iPhone 6 and a number of wallets were stolen from lockers.

Constable Crean said: “It is vital that you take steps to protect your property. If at all possible, leave anything of value at home. If you have to carry your phone or wallet these should be locked away out of sight in a secure locker or kept on your person into the facilities.

“If you are in the changing area of leisure facilities and notice anything which appears suspicious or out of place, you should make a member of staff aware and contact us straight away on 101. Management of these facilities have supported our investigations and are working to address any security issues.”
