An 18-year-old Lurgan man appeared in the dock at Craigavon Magistrates Court on Friday on an attempted murder charge.
Caolan Coleman is accused of the attempted murder of his friend Paul Cassidy on July 25 this year.
He allegedly attacked his friend with a golf club leaving him with serious injuries to his head and face.
His address in relation to this charge was given as Liscorran Court however Coleman faced a further two charges of attempted burglary and one of going equipped for burglary.
In relation to the latter charges his address was given as Castle Lane though the defendant is currently in custody.
He is charged with having a knife, a screwdriver and a pair of pliers in the Victoria St and Lough Road area for use in a burglary on May 1 2011.
He is further accused of attempted to enter as a trespasser both Susan Doran’s hairdressers and also David Heaney’s shop on the same date.
He was remanded in custody until October 11 to appear at Craigavon Court via video link.
