The TUV’s Upper Bann Assembly candidate said: “Going round the doors over the last few weeks has underscored to me the reality that unionists in Upper Bann are unhappy with the way things are going. There is widespread recognition that while Stormont may be working for the political establishment it is not working for the people.

People recognise that TUV is the party which has constantly exposed waste and squander and held the executive to account. They recognise that TUV is the only party to have taken Sinn Fein/IRA on on the floor of the Assembly and won with the delivery of Ann’s Law which ensures that convicted terrorists will never again serve as Special Advisers.

“They recognise that TUV has been the consistent voice calling for the democratisation of Stormont and demanding that we in Northern Ireland have the same rights the people of Scotland and Wales will have on 5th May - the right to vote a party out of government and the right to have an opposition to hold them to account.

“People are fed up with Stormont but there is no point complaining and then going out and voting for the same old parties of failure and deadlock. Jim Allister’s record has shown that TUV are serious about taking on Sinn Fein/IRA and serious about exposing waste and squander on the Hill.

“My message to the people of Upper Bann is simple. Demand change. Strengthen Jim Allister’s hand. Vote TUV on 5th May.”
