Drove through red light at junction

When he drove through a red light a 36-year-old man caused a collision with another car.

Michal Malinowski, Alexandra Square, Lurgan, was fined £150 last Wednesday at Craigavon Magistrates Court for driving without due care and attention on November 26 last year. He was also given four points. For the breach of a traffic signal he was fined £60.

The court heard that a two vehicle collision took place at the North Street and William Street junction in Lurgan. Mr Richard Monteith, representing the defendant said it was an error of judgement by his client.
