Firefighters deal with burning bales of hay
Firefighters used an excavator to remove burning bales of hay at a shed outside Lurgan last night.
Two fire appliances from Lurgan were sent to the blaze at Lurgan Road, Aghalee at around 8pm.
A spokesperson for the NIFRS said: “Firefighters were called to attend a hayshed containing around 20 round bales of hay on fire.
“Using a excavator the bales were removed to a field and allowed to burn.
“The incident was dealt with at 10.51pm and the cause of the fire is being treated as accidental.”
