Five arrested after body found
Five people have been arrested as part of enquiries into the death of a man whose body was found in the Mourneview Street area of Portadown yesterday (Sunday).
The body was found in a stream just after 11am.
The five arrested are two 28-year-old men, a 30-year-old man, a 35-year-old woman and a 17-year-old woman.
They are being questioned at a police station in Belfast.
DCI Lee McNevison from Serious Crime Branch said, “We believe we know who the man is, but we will not be confirming his identity until a formal identification has taken place and a postmortem examination has been held.”
