An Aghagallon man was fined £200 last Wednesday at Craigavon Magistrates Court for possession of cannabis on January 22 this year.
The court heard that David Ashley White (23), of Parknasilla Crescent, Aghagallon, was sitting in a car in a car park in William Street, Lurgan, when police approached and found a small amount of cannabis and a grinder.
He admitted that he owned the cannabis and the grinder.
Mr Richard Monteith, representing the defendant, said his client admitted his involvement straightaway and described him as a hard working person.
District Judge, Mr Mervyn Bates, said White had a number of matters on his record but this was his first connection with drugs.
